Soloists and Guest Artists
Formed as the Band of the 7th Military District on 2nd May 1988, the Australian Army Band Darwin (AAB-D) is one of 11 Australian Army Band Corps units in locations around the country.
Emma Matthews is a highly acclaimed and awarded coloratura soprano having received more Helpmann Awards than any other individual artist, nine Green Room Awards, the Mo Award and the Remy Martin Australian Opera Award.
Stephen Pevely has made a remarkable contribution to Darwin Symphony as Principal Clarinet of the orchestra for over 20 years.
Fiona Wake is well-loved by audiences of the DSO, having performed at several concerts as a soloist. Her next appearance will be in Hats Off to Broadway.
Tom has performed with DSO numerous times and his next appearance will be as a soloist for Hats Off to Broadway.
Michael is Assistant Music Director of the Darwin Chorale and joins us as Guest Conductor for Hats Off to Broadway.
