An unmissable evening of virtuosic and spirited orchestral favourites.

Join Darwin Symphony Orchestra for a rare performance of Dvořák’s stunning Cello Concerto. Featuring special guest soloist Rodrick McGrath, this stirring piece is an exhilarating and dramatic encounter.

Beethoven’s high-spirited 7th Symphony completes a program of favourites, featuring his famous Allegretto second movement loved by audiences the world over.

Inspire young minds with beautiful classic music.

This interactive and engaging concert will spark intrigue in classical music for kids and adults alike! Featuring the whole orchestra, audience members will have the opportunity dance, clap, and sing along, and may even have a chance to conduct the entire orchestra!

This special event is an opportunity for new listeners to learn about all the instruments and different sounds that make up an orchestra.

Uplifting choral works and a dramatic masterpiece.

Don’t miss DSOs stunning finale to their 2022 season featuring two diverse and utterly spectacular works!

Under the direction of Michael Loughlin, Darwin Symphony Orchestra will perform John Rutter’s Gloria alongside talented Darwin-based choir, Vocalective. This rousing work originally composed in 1974 will showcase the artistic and technical range of the orchestra and talented choir members.

This exciting work will be followed by an almighty performance of 'The Planets'. This seven-movement masterpiece written by English composer Gustav Holst is one of the greatest large scale works ever written and promises to bring Darwin Symphony Orchestra’s spectacular 2022 season to a dramatic close.

Join the Darwin Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Program for an artistic aquatic adventure!

Children will have the chance to see the music come to life as they draw along with our string quartet as they perform famous water-themed classics.

Young, creative minds will be inspired by whales and waves, fins and flippers in this interactive, musical adventure through the ocean.
