Applications Now Open for 2021 Intake

A new Darwin Symphony Orchestra initiative, the Young Artists Program enables aspiring musicians to hone their skills with weekly classes, performances, and masterclasses.

If you are aged thirteen to eighteen, and have an interest and dedication to developing your music skills, we want you to join this program.

Each year, selected students will have access to professional music educators and world-class visiting artists through a series of masterclasses and workshops.

Cost: $160 Dollars per term | Sports Voucher Eligible!
Entry to the program is by audition and places are limited

How to Apply

To apply for the Young Artists 2021 Program,

  1. Click on the Apply Now button below and complete the application form
  2. Send us a video audition of no more than 5 minutes of you playing a piece of your choice. Videos should be sent to dso@cdu.edu.au

Applicants will be notified of the outcome within one week. Once you been notified of a successful application, please click on the Pay Now button and complete your payment.
