Young Artists Composition Workshop with Richard Mills

In the lead-up to their performance at the Palmerston Library storytime, participants in the Young Artists Program enjoyed a special visit from Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Richard Mills. As one of Australia’s most celebrated composers, Mills led the students in a composition workshop, exploring different tone colours and musical ideas helping them to develop their musical score for The River, a book by Sally Morgan and Johnny Warrkatja Malibirr.
