Guide our musical adventure through the tropics!

Poet and storyteller Melanie Mununggurr and composer Simon Bruckard hit the highway with DSO musicians to share this interactive musical adventure with young audiences in Barkly and Central Australia!

Premiered in Darwin in September 2025, the story follows Mali, a young girl exploring the Wet Season NT landscape with her ranger mum. Audiences can actively shape the story’s path and music by choosing directions and responding to the narration with
movement and body percussion.
